Acce presents its plan of action for the next two years

Tirana 6 November 2013- The Albanian Coalition for Child Education (ACCE), held an informative meeting with member organizations of the Coalition to introduce the Coalition’s action plan for the period November 2013 - December 2014 regarding the children’s education.

The issues discussed at the meeting related to the main objectives of the Coalition’s action plan, financial aspects and the importance of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the members of the Coalition etc.

The meeting emphasized the need to intensify efforts in order to bring the issue of children's education at the spotlight of policy - makers in Albania.

Participants highlighted the problems encountered during their work such as the inclusion of Roma children and children with special needs in the Albanian educational system. They stressed that the limited budget assigned to education is not sufficient to meet the requirements of achieving a qualitative education. The representatives of the Coalition were informed that during 2014 a series of meetings will be organized in different cities of Albania, so that the organizations that operate locally will get more information about the Coalition’s mission and become part of the Albanian Coalition for Child Education.
