Prof. Dr. Klodeta Dibra

Since 1988, Prof. Dibra has held important positions in higher education such as Decan of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Member of the Academic Senate of the University of Tirana, Member of the Council of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Chair of the Council of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, as well as the Head of the Department of Italian Language, Faculty of Foreign Languages etc.

Prof. Dibra counts a wide participation in national and international conferences, publications of articles in scientific journals, author of various university textbooks, monographs and dictionaries. She has given a great contribution to the literature by translating in Albanian language well-known Italian authors such as Carmine Abate, Dacia Maraini, Orianna Fallacci, Mario Luzi, etc. She is involved in many activities at national and international projects.

For her wide contribution, Mrs. Dibra has been awarded with various medals, among which we mention “Ordine della stella della solidarietà italiana”, given by the President of the Republic of Italy,
