Alo 116 helps 25 children with dissabilities

Tirana, 13^th of June – ALO 116 – Albanian National Child Helpline and Albanian Coalition for Child Education (ACCE),delivered food donations to 25 children with dissabilities who attend the daily development centre “Shtëpia e Kuqe”, which provides support for children with disabilities. This incentive is in continuity of the initiatives that ALO 116 undertakes to help children and raise awareness among instituions and political actors for the vital importance that the support given to them plays in their lives.

The funds raised at the fair “Gjithçka për Fëmijët” where ALO 116 and ACCE participated, were used to help 25 children with disabilities from the centre “Shtëpia e Kuqe”. The fair was organized with the help of the Chamber of Trade and Industry on the occasion of the  International Children’s  Day.

At this fair ALO 116 promoted its services and distributed awareness materials for all children and parents who visited the fair. During these days shirts, bags, hats, postcards, pens with ALO 116 logo were put on sale.

ALO 116 is the only Albanian helpline which supports children in some of the most difficult moments of their lives. It is a unique model in Albania, which is free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service and responds to children through two phone numbers: 116 - 111 (National Helpline for Children) and 116 - 000 (National Helpline for Missing Children).
