“Education For All” Campaign closes with the Great Exhibition of Children at Parku Rinia

ACE leads the civil society advocacy campaign under the slogan: "A Qualified Teacher for every child"

Tirane, 27-th April 2013 – The Albanian Coalition for Child Education (ACE), finalised today all tyhe activities on behalf of the Global Action Week,  with the “Great Exhibition “held at Parku Rinia in Tirana.

Children, parents and partners of ACE became part of the Great Exhibition under the theme “My Ideal Teacher." In this day,  children painted, wrote essays about their teacher, had games and other animated activities, organized by the RVSH animators.

The Great Exhibition is the finalisation of all efforts of the Albanian Coalition for Child Educationthat during the Global Education Week 2013, which began with a teachers union meetings and then followed by an open forum of  politicians and children, a meeting on provisions of the pre-university law for education and at the end with the Great Exhibition of Children’s works.

Global Action Week is an initiative of the 'Global Campaign for Education', which takes place in April. This year the initiative was focus on the needs of every child to have a qualified teacher.

ACE is a non-formal network established on 2004, coordinated by CRCA Albania. Over many years NGO's that work in the area of education, have joined the efforts of the Albanian Coalition for Child Education. The campaign in Albania was joined by the following organisations: ALO 116, CRCA, SHKEJ, Teachers Unions, MEDPAK, Partners for Children, La Casa nel Cuore, ADRF, ADRA, RVSH, World Vision, Save the Children, FBSH and and “Perthyerje”, which made possible the exhibition of juveniles work  from re-education institutions in Albania.

ACE thanks all the participants of Global Education Week 2013 and expresses its gratitude for their contribution and the efforts done within the framework.
